* Based on data from the PINNACLE study conducted in February 2024 with 108 patients, 82% of those patients surveyed declared a preference for Micron Pen needles over Embecta BD Contoured Base Pen Needle 31Gx8mm and BD Nano 2nd Gen Pen Needle 32Gx4mm and reported decreased pain intensity as the main reason for preference (for 70% of respondents).

† Micron patients had a lower pain score vs the Embecta BD Contoured Base Pen Needle 31Gx8mm and BD Nano 2nd Gen Pen Needle 32Gx4mm (VAS score). Patients reported that use of preferred product would reduce anxiety before injecting.
